A couple of months ago I purchased some tripods and ball heads for Pam and I to use. After a lot of research I ended up getting a carbon fiber and aluminum tripod as well as the ball heads from Sirui, which has received good reviews but is relatively new to the US market. After using the tripods for the last few months I think I can offer an opinion on them and give you an idea of how they work. I searched for something like this in photography equipment shops for a while but was not able to find it. So I went the Do It Yourself route - and it worked quite well. The holder I am going to show you comes literally at a shoestring budget. It's a nice prop for your home photo studio. It is really easy to make.
